Penny's Parchment Craft
Parchment craft has been with us a number of years, firstly in the form of Pergamano™. Crafters then deviated
from and added to the Pergamano methods and now there are a number of people in the UK who still practise this craft.
Parchment craft uses parchment paper which is like a thick tracing paper. On this, patterns are embossed, pricked and cut
using a variety a special tools so that the end effect is that of lacework pictures and patterns on the paper. Exceptionally beautiful greetings and gift cards can then
be made from this. With the intricacy involved, one card can take days to make.
