Our 'Crafty' Website
My name is Penny Loseby and both myself and my husband Paul are just two people who enjoy the arts and crafts. We would like to share with you, some of the hobbies that
we find enjoyable.
Parchment Craft by Penny
Penny started Parchment Craft in about 1999 when she attended night-school at Lutterworth for Pergamano classes.
Since that time, besides her other hobbies of watercolour painting, hand and machine knitting, gardening and now woodturning,
she finds time to make beautiful and high quality, lace greetings cards some of which she does sell.
Paul's Woodturning
Paul has only been 'into' woodwork and woodturning since 2002. Then, at the age of 55 he enrolled on a cabinet maker's course at a local college. He loved making the furniture for his home, but wanted
to be able to incorporate turned legs etc to his furniture. It has just taken off from there and the cabinet making was left behind. Paul does turn bowls and platters etc but his
favourite is making high quality fountain and ballpoint pens, lidded boxes with hand chased threads, and hopefully spiral work (depending on how the practise goes).
